Beta notice: Navelle is a pre-release product currently available only for supported Android devices. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, changed, or removed, and generated output may contain errors. These terms apply to the current closed beta.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Navelle closed beta, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Navelle Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the beta.
2. Eligibility and beta access
Beta access may be limited, invitation-based, device-specific, or subject to availability. The current beta supports Android only, and compatibility is not guaranteed for every Android device or operating-system version. Navelle may approve, deny, suspend, or end beta access at any time. You must provide accurate information when requesting access and comply with applicable age requirements.
3. The service
Navelle uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized story text, cover artwork, story summaries, character memory, world memory, and continuity notes, and uses text-to-speech technology to create narration audio. The service may rely on third-party cloud and artificial-intelligence providers. Availability, speed, output quality, voices, models, limits, and features may change during the beta.
4. Your content
You retain any rights you have in the prompts, story ideas, character information, world information, feedback, and other material you submit. You grant Navelle and its service providers a limited permission to process that material only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or these terms.
5. AI-generated and synthesized content
AI-generated stories, summaries, artwork, memory, synthesized audio, and other output may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to content generated for others, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing generated output before publishing, sharing, selling, relying on, or using it outside the app.
Navelle does not guarantee that generated output is unique, copyrightable, non-infringing, factually accurate, or appropriate for every audience.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Navelle to:
- Break the law or encourage illegal activity.
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, or impersonate another person.
- Distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, or evade usage or security controls.
- Submit highly sensitive credentials, authentication secrets, financial account details, or other information that should not be processed through a storytelling service.
- Use the service in a manner that could harm Navelle, its providers, other users, or the public.
7. Local data, backups, and exports
You are responsible for maintaining copies of content that is important to you. Local device failure, app removal, operating-system changes, beta updates, corrupted files, or user action may result in data loss. Backup and restore tools are provided as a convenience and are not a guarantee against loss.
8. Feedback
If you submit feedback, bug reports, suggestions, or feature ideas, you permit Navelle to use them without restriction or payment for the purpose of evaluating and improving the product. This does not transfer ownership of your underlying stories or creative content.
9. Third-party services
Navelle may depend on third-party hosting, artificial-intelligence, image-generation, text-to-speech, crash-reporting, distribution, and platform services. Use of those services may be subject to their own terms, policies, limitations, and availability. Navelle is not responsible for third-party outages or changes beyond its control.
10. Beta changes and termination
Navelle may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the beta at any time. Access may be terminated for violation of these terms, misuse of the service, security concerns, prolonged inactivity, provider restrictions, or the end of the beta program.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Navelle does not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free output, preservation of data, compatibility with every device, or suitability for a specific purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Navelle and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost opportunities, or reliance on generated content arising from use of the beta.
Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the beta during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. If the beta was provided without charge, the maximum aggregate liability will be fifty U.S. dollars.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Navelle changes features, providers, pricing, availability, or legal requirements. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
